What POPIA is
POPIA is South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act. It sets the conditions for the lawful processing of personal information by public and private bodies.
Agency-scoped data
Each agency's data is isolated within its own workspace. One agency cannot see another agency's leases, landlords, tenants, documents, notifications or audit records.
Role-based access
Access to data within an agency is controlled by user role, so people see what their role allows.
Document vault
Uploaded and generated documents are held in private storage tied to the relevant lease record.
Audit trail
Key actions and decisions are recorded to support accountability and transparency.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, data subjects may request access to, correction of, or deletion/restriction of their personal information.
How to contact us
Privacy and POPIA requests are handled via the Information Officer (see the Contact / Information Officer page). Full detail is set out in the Privacy Policy / POPIA Notice.
